'The Hill Tree'

'The Hill Tree' by Peter Davies. Original charcoal drawing on paper.

An original charcoal drawing of a lone tree on a high windswept Hill in the English countryside below a dramatic stormy sky that is threatening to pour down with rain. I have a attempted to capture the movement, atmosphere, and light of a stormy day using charcoal to create rich contrasting tones.
