'Late Sunset at the Downs'

'Late Sunset at the Downs' by Peter Davies. Original oil painting on board.

An original oil painting on board of the very last light of the day as the sun dips below the horizon on the Downs. it is now almost night, and the fields are bathed in twilight. I was very interested in the abstract patterns created by the fields and the crops, and the decorative motif they create in the painting.
