'Umbrella Sunset'

'Umbrella Sunset' by Peter Davies. Original oil painting on board.

An original oil painting on board of an umbrella tree that I saw when I was in Italy. The evening light was beautiful, and the trunk of the tree was caught in warm golden sunset light that created beautiful contrasts of light and dark. Even the leaves were picked out and made golden.
